THE MAMAS FOR MAMAS TOWEL
Introducing our charity collaboration for 2022. This year Tofino Towel Co. has partnered with Mamas for Mamas to create this custom limited edition designed towel with the proceeds going back to this fantastic charity.
We were honoured to work with the Mamas for Mamas team in the winter of 2020 when Tofino Towel donated product to the charity for their deserving mamas. The stories from Mamas for Mamas of the local families that received our donation was extremely heartwarming. After the wonderful experience of working with the charity, we knew there was more that could be done. Mamas for Mamas expressed their interest in a custom towel creation to help support the charity. We loved this idea and were thrilled to once again be a part of another philanthropic giveback. By purchasing one of the beautiful Mamas for Mamas Towels you will be donating a 20% proceed back to this worthy cause. Sales from this piece will go toward their poverty relief programs and ensure that no family is left behind.
The design of this towel was created be a local Kelowna mama who kindly donated her time and artwork. The design features the Mamas for Mamas logo incorporated into the pattern of the towel in a reverse jacquard weave that makes the towel reversible. Woven in our signature Turkish cotton in a soft rosewood tone that pairs beautifully with the natural ecru tone. The goal was to create a dynamic and interesting design that speaks to the charity while being a beautiful stand-alone piece.
This towel was created by Tofino Towel Co. with their master artisan weavers in Turkey. It was important for Tofino Towel to create this piece in Turkey to encompass the fair trade and sustainable practices. The towel has been handwoven by traditional artisans using natural products. Featuring 100% organic Turkish cotton that is GOTS and Oeko-Tex certified, so not only does the towel do good, you can feel good about using this piece.
