What is a Turkish Towel?
They are versatile, space-saving alternatives to plush terrycloth, ideal for travel, the beach, or at home.
Turkish towels are traditionally a light weight, flat-woven towel made from premium, long-fiber Turkish cotton, grown in the Aegean region of Turkey.
It has longer fibres than that of Egyptian cotton which is known of its high absorbency and quick drying qualities, while lightweight and soft.
I am used to thick, fluffy terrycloth towels. Will a flat-woven Turkish towel actually dry me off?
It dries you even faster than a standard towel, despite being much thinner. Our towels are loomed from premium Aegean Turkish cotton, which features uniquely long, smooth fibres.
Rather than relying on bulky loops that trap dampness, this flat jacquard weave instantly pulls water away from your skin and disperses it across the surface for rapid air evaporation.
What Else can I use my Turkish towel for?
For Travel & Fitness:
It folds down to the size of a roll of kitchen towel, making it a perfect non-bulky flight blanket, a hot-yoga mat topper, or a park picnic blanket that repels grass and dirt and sand.
For On-the-Go Fashion: You can easily knot into a quick poolside sarong, or drape over your shoulders as a breathable autumn blanket scarf.
For Family:
Because it is certified organic (GOTS and OEKO-TEX), it is completely safe and chemical-free, making it an excellent lightweight baby stroller canopy, a soft swaddle or impromptu play mat.
