WHAT IS A SURF PONCHO FOR?

- You can wear it while you change into and out of swimwear on the go.

Is the Byrd Poncho heavy or bulky?

Not at all! The Byrd poncho is constructed from Turkish cotton which allows it to be super absorbent and quick drying without being bulky light traditional heavy terry.

That means it packs up easy into your beach bag and will be dry between swims.

Because of its design it also works as a great discrete cover to change in and out of swim gear without even taking it off!

Why should I choose a Turkish cotton poncho over a cheap, fast-drying microfiber one?

Synthetic microfiber ponchos are made of polyester (plastic). Once wet, they lack thermal insulation and act like a cold wind-conductor against your skin. They also lock in bad odors and shed thousands of microplastics into the ocean with every wash.
